We've just heard word from Microsoft that the first DLC pack for Gears of War 3, Horde Command, has been delayed due to technical issues. The add-on was lined up for release later today. Developer Epic Games is "working round the clock to fix this issue," according to an Epic community manager on the studio's
forum.
"We know this is disappointing news as we've seen a lot of posts today showing excitement for this content," reads the post. "We have folks working around the clock to resolve this issue ASAP so you can all play and enjoy the Command Pack."
When it finally does get released, Horders will be able to access three new maps, three new playable characters, two new weapon skins, new Horde fortifications and an extra 250 Gamerscore points via brand spanking new Achievements.
No timeframe has been given for the release of the Horde Command pack, but Epic insists that the delay will be temporary.
