Okay, things are getting plain daft now in the Battlefield 3 versus Modern Warfare 3 battle. This time around UK retailer GameStop.co.uk is offering an online trade in of BF3 to get MW3 for 99p.
Yes, less than a whole quid.
Basically, buy BF3 on October 27th and play the hell out of it, then trade it in for MW3 on November 7th for 99p.
Does any other business work like this? Is there an expectation that people won't be buying BF3 for the online? What on earth is going on?

I don't know who this is better for? EA or Activision. as there is a good chance people who play battlefield will really enjoy it and just not return it.

Its so all the parents can buy their kids a pre-owned copy of BF3 for christmas and save £3 off RRP only to find they need to spend another tenner Chrsitmas Day to buy the VIP Online Access Code which has already been redeemed by the previous owner.
