Sony Provides UK PlayStation Pricing but No Data Plans
PSP2 (Vita) pricing for UK is... but no data pricing
So, we've had Euro pricing. We've had Aussie, Kiwi and Middle Eastern pricing for PlayStation Vita, and now we've got UK pricing for the unit but not the data plans.
Sony says that the unit will be available "from 22nd February, 2012" at the following prices for the UK:
From £229.99 (RRP) for the Wi-Fi model.
From £279.99 (RRP) for the 3G/Wi-Fi model.
No data plans are outlined though.
There's even a quote from Jim Ryan, President and CEO, SCEE that would lead you to expect that, “PlayStation Vita is an incredible device that offers the best possible portable gaming experiences."
Jim is also, “very excited to launch a portable gaming device that goes beyond anything available on the market and is positioned to deliver the uncompromised gaming experiences consumers have been asking for.”
Let's hope so, eh readers.

I don't think it will do well in the UK, iPhones and androids own the mobile market nowadays but i wouldn't mind eating my own words.
i won't though because sony will charge around £20-30 per title, where the most you would have to pay for an app is around £10.
time will tell how much money sony makes (*coughs* "loses" *coughs*) from this...

@Tone the difference between the Vita and its titles and the iphone and apps is Apples and Dark Matter.
