Super Mario Land 3 Coming Soon To Virtual Console
The classics just keep rolling on.
They don't make 'em like they used to...
Nintendo just keeps on chucking out the classics on the 3DS Store, doesn't it? The trend is certainly set to continue, as some clever so-and-so has found out that Super Mario Land 3 is on its way to the portable Virtual Console.
Officially titled Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, it's one of the best platformers to grace the old GameBoy. With the focus this time on Wario it's a bit different and a whole lot stranger as Nintendo's anti-hero goes on a quest to grab the treasure on Kitchen Island. Taking a bit more of a lead from the NES Super Mario 3, it's a welcome addition to the 3DS.
It's a bit old-school, but since when has that been a problem? If you fancy reliving your childhood (or just seeing what the fuss is about) the game will be available soon. In the meantime, here's a runthrough of the entire GameBoy original if you've got a couple of hours spare...

Yeah, that is a stupidly long video. :) But the game's pretty awesome. I agree though, prefer Wario Land 2. I have a soft spot for Wario Land 3 on Game Boy Color too.
