OnLive Goes Live in the UK: Launch Titles
Streaming game service OnLive has officially opened its virtual doors to the UK public, launching with a respectable number of titles - over 120 in fact - and unlimited play on over 100 of those for £6.99 a month.

In a move to help entice gamers sitting on the fence with the service, there is also the promise of free trials and the tantalising price of £1 for the first game purchased. Among the list of choicces are Assassins Creed: Brotherhood, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, DiRT 3, Hitman 2: Silent Assassin and World of Goo. A good mix, then.

Individual games will cost between £1.99 and £39.99, depending on whether you want to play them for a limited time or until the end of time. Check out the list below.

About 20 of the 120 games are worth playing and most people will have already played these good games. There is also supposed to be a big problem with lag on the some connections. Why are they be charging 40 quid for a game when they have very little costs apart from there servers, no shops and no distribution is resulting with the same rip off that download music has at the moment. They also will have complete control over price fixing at a corporate level. Also with no second hand games or the main reason for fully disliking this is you will not be able to give friends a lend of a game. There may need to a bit of spring cleaning like the Arab spring if they try to push complete corporate control of gaming for there dastardly corporate scheme.

If I had a pound for every new tech idea that failed, I'd have hundreds of thousands of pounds.

If I had a pound for everyone who SAID that a new tech idea would fail, and it then went on to massive success, I'd live on the moon in a diamond encrusted mansion made of gold.
