Nomura Hints at Return of World Ends With You

Cult Nintendo DS adventure The World Ends With You could be seeing a return, if comments from Square Enix creator Tetsuya Nomura has anything to say about it.

A trailer for upcoming Kingdom Hearts game, Drop Distance (who makes up these names?), at Tokyo Game Show revealed a cameo appearance of TWEWY protagonist Neku. Surely it can't be a sign of things to come?

Nomura told Famitsu this week that in fact it is - Square Enix is working on 'something', but stopped short of saying a proper sequel is in development. Whether it's a remake, a spinoff or something else entirely, we're just glad to see this game get a bit more attention within the Japanese publisher.

Although the way Nomura's going about hinting and announcing things, perhaps he should think about finishing Final Fantasy Versus XIII first.
