Game developers looking to work on projects for Sony's mobile phone and tablet devices will have the opportunity to do so properly in November, when the PlayStation Suite software development kits will be made available.
Sony revealed PlayStation Suite several months ago as a means to bridge content between its console and Android-powered portable devices. Games that are developed for the Suite will be made available for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, Sony Tablets 'S' and 'P' as well as the PlayStation Vita.
The company says that with the initiative it will be able to "approach a wider range of content developers, non-gaming developers and individual programmers." Not to be outdone by any upstart bedroom coders, Sony has also said it is preparing "a variety of content" to be published on the PlayStation Suite service from the end of October, starting with PS1 Classics.
