Get ready to play with some more balls. SEGA has announced that long-running arcade game Super Monkey Ball is hitting the PlayStation Vita in early 2012.
As you would expect, this latest iteration of the tilt-n-tumble puzzler will take full advantage of the various input mechanics of the Vita hardware. Dual-analogue sticks, Sixaxis tilt sensitivity, touch controls on the front and back... there will be no shortage of methods to play with AiAi and friends.
SEGA has yet to reveal any concrete details on the game, but you can expect there to be much rolling around and much collecting of bananas. It did mention that the Vita version will see the return of popular minigame Monkey Target, so expect to have some mad multiplayer fun come next year.
