Cloud gaming service OnLive is set to hit the UK on the 22nd September, according to a report by MCV - and it won't arrive quietly, with some 125 titles planned for launch. The service has seen some success in North America, where subscribers can pay to access high-spec PC titles on their computers, regardless of specification. A micro console is also available for users to play on the sofa. OnLive has reportedly said that deals are in place to stock the micro console in retailers across the UK.
Agreements have also been made with manufacturers to include the technology into Blu-ray players and TVs. BT, HTC and other big names are said to be among the companies OnLive is partnering with. Specialist retailers will eventually stock the micro console, but CEO Steve Perlman said it was a matter of getting enough stock first.
No pricing models have been announced for the UK as of yet.
