Namco Bandai has executed a most spectacular U-Turn on its decision to include permanent game saves in Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions on the Nintendo 3DS.The publisher has issued a statement explaining that game saves can in fact be deleted if the user presses the A, B, X, Y, L and R buttons during start up.
A brief message from the company says that previous comments regarding game saves were down to "a miscommunication at our level." Seems like a pretty big miscommunication to go from "
There is no way to erase the save" to "Oh wait, there actually is," but it's a positive step forward to silence growing dissent from fans nonetheless.
An honest communication error, or a publisher trying to appease the fans it pissed off? Conspiracy theories, you know where to put 'em.
