Amazon in the USA suspended sales of the Nintendo 3DS for the moment due to, well, an ambiguous set of reasons concerning its inventory.
A statement on its USA site - as reported by the Examiner - read:
"While this item is available from other marketplace sellers on this page, it is not currently offered by Amazon.com because customers have told us there may be something wrong with our inventory of the item, the way we are shipping it, or the way it's described here. (Thanks for the tip!)
We're working to fix the problem as quickly as possible."
Based on this, The Examiner states
"Nintendo’s latest portable system, the Nintendo 3DS, has been available since late March, but online retailer Amazon.com is no longer offering the hardware due to complaints."
However, looking at the USA Amazon site now... as you can see from the pic illustrating this piece, it seems that the 3DS is on sale once again.
