Star Fox 64 3D Gets a Release Date
Do a barrel roll! Nintendo has announced when we will be able to fly through the vast reaches of the Lylat system on our 3DS systems - Star Fox 64 3D will be hitting stores on the 9th September.

We know what you're thinking - that's light years away! And, well... you'd be right. But hey, at least we have a date now. The game is a stereoscopic re-working of the original Nintendo 64 space shooter, which came out 14 years ago.

Besides the extra dimension, Star Fox 64 3D includes updated graphics, brand new voice casting (with all of the original voice actors, we hasten to add) and the ability to send images of your reactions in multiplayer using the 3DS camera. Survival, Point Battle and Time Battle are listed as multiplayer modes, and can be enjoyed using the Download Play feature.

So, what to do for the next month and a half? Maybe it's worth cracking out that N64 and booting up a classic game of Lylat Wars. That's what we're going to be doing now, instead of working. See ya!

Download Play I have to say is the best thing Nintendo have done as far as multi player goes since the N64 have four controller ports..

Looking forward to this, if you remember on the N64 it was the first game to use the Rumble Pack and came bundled with it, it was certainly a experience at the time having your pad rumble as you played..

I trust we can buy this as Star Fox this time round?
