Assassin's Creed Wii U to be Brand New Project

Ubisoft is working on an Assassin's Creed game for Nintendo's Wii U. But it's not a port of Revelations.

Swedish website Aftonbladet (via Eurogamer) discovered this in an interview with the French publisher's bossman, Yves Guillemot. When asked about the existence of an Assassin's Creed game for the new console, Guillemot refers to it as the "next edition" of the series.

"Not Revelations. For the future," he cryptically revealed, before locking his lips back up and saying no further on the subject. At least now we know that Nintendo's upcoming platform won't suffer from inferior ports of big-name franchises. Mind you, neither did the Wii, technically...
