505 Games' Zumba Fitness claims another #1 victory in this week's UK Video Game Charts, whether we all want it there or not. But there it is, wiggling its stuff in the face of all the hardcore gamers out there - and this is despite a drop in sales of nearly a quarter.
The other big story from the charts this week is the performance of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. It debuts in 7th place this week, but that shouldn't be much cause for celebration as Chart-Track announced that it's "by far the lowest ever sales in a launch week for a Harry Potter game." Ouch. For comparison, Part 1 debuted at #20!
Little change in the Top 10 otherwise - besides the incredible re-entry of EA Sports Active 2.0. Heavy price cuts were the key to igniting sales for the troubled fitness title, likely a response to the success of Zumba Fitness. Sales shot up 338 per cent, and the game is in at #8.
