Mario is Missing! Stolen by Thieves
We live in a sick, sick world ladies and gentlemen. A world where anyone can just take whatever they like and leave game store owners and their families in deep sorrow. The latest? A four-foot Super Mario statue in St. George, USA.

Joel Riplie, who owns Video Game Exchange, told The Spectrum of the harrowing tale - how thieves had snatched the Nintendo mascot on Wednesday as it was chained to a railing by the front door. "Someone must have went over there with bolt cutters... it was premeditated," he said.

Police Dept Captain James Van Fleet (epic name) reported that no witnesses were discovered, although it was noted that two young men were hanging around the area at that time.

The statue has been with Riplie for over ten years, and in the two years his shop has been open Mario has been used as an effective sign to entice customers to step in. "It’s almost like our open sign. People affiliate it with us being opened for business... He’s more recognizable than the president of the United States." A replacement statue would cost thousands of dollars.

Perhaps they should check out the old spooky mansion at the top of the hill?

"OK, Bowser! Let's see who you really are!"
"Old man Caruthers!!"
"And I would have gotten away with it, if it wasn't for you meddling kids!"
