SquareSoft has revealed its hardware debut, revealing its PlayOnline modem for the first time.
The unit will go on sale in Japan for PlayStation 2 when the company releases Final Fantasy XI next year.
Its primary function will be to connect to the PlayOnline network and enable cross-platform links for the massively multiplayer online RPG Final Fantasy XI, and other PlayOnline titles in the future.
