Ubisoft is making a big push for Kinect music shooter Child of Eden, as the publisher is set to open a one-stop shop dedicated to showcasing the game to unsuspecting Londoners. The
Child of Eden Experience opens on Saturday 4th June, and will be open for the three weeks leading up to the game's launch (17th June). Situated on Dean Street, just off of the hyper-busy Oxford Street, the storefront is decked out with Tetsuya Mizuguchi's inspiring artwork (along with official window slaves demonstrating the game), inviting passers-by and vagabonds from nearby bars to try out the game for themselves.
Dance and club music pumps throughout the store and into the street, while several demo rooms house Xbox 360s and Kinects for curious gamers (and non-gamers) to try. Ubisoft has said that there will be an opportunity for potential buyers to pre-order should they be swayed by the game's unique presentation.
A launch party for the store kicked off last night, with celebrities such as Jonathan Ross, Iain Lee and Joe Calzaghe diving into the world of Eden and making beautiful music.
