3DS Versions of Sonic Generations, Shinobi Confirmed
Nintendo Power gets the sort-of scoop.
Looks like the blue hedgehog is out of the bag. US magazine Nintendo Power has confirmed that Sonic Generations is heading to the 3DS, along with a brand new Shinobi game to boot.
SEGA was kind enough to mention a 3DS and PC version of the 20th Anniversary game on its Japanese release schedule recently, and mention of the game on the Nintendo handheld here pretty much seals it. No details are available as to what form this will take - either a graphically trimmed down version of the HD console release, or a different kind of experience entirely.
Shinobi's appearance is more surprising, but it wraps up the 'retro revival' theme of the magazine's issue quite nicely. Since the Nintendo Power scan started doing the rounds, a leaked internal video has been uploaded to YouTube covering the history of Shinobi. You can watch it below - SEGA has yet to comment.
