More details on the Nintendo 3DS version of Star Fox 64 have come to light thanks to Japanese retailer Tsutaya. It attended a briefing which showed off some unique features of the upcoming space blaster.
Posting on its Twitter feed, store representatives noticed that the game will come included with a 3DS Mode, N64 Mode and Battle Mode. It's not entirely clear how the first two modes in particular will differ from one another, although 3DS mode will take advantage of the gyro sensor for flight control.
Battle Mode will support four players as well as allow for download play between local consoles, but sadly there's no online connectivity between worldwide players via the WiFi Connection.
Star Fox 64 3D is hitting Japan on July 14. We want it now, already.
