Team Bondi 'Doing a Japanese One to Make Mr Kojima Happy'
With LA Noire out the door it's time for new things.
We've been feverishly hammering away at LA Noire in readiness for review time - can't say anything for now - but what of developer Team Bondi, which has finished the game?
"Well, we're done and we're finished", says Team Bondi founder Brendan McNamara. He continues talking about what's next for the cre, "We're looking at doing the Japanese one so we can make Mr. Kojima happy. We're very proud that he was complimentary about our game."
This refers, of course, to a tweet from Hideo Kojima in April, which stated:
“It seems that L.A. Noir will be released in Japan on 7th July(the Star Festival). It is the most and the only game that I am looking forward to playing. English version will be released in May. I cannot wait, but as it is the detective game, I should wait for the Japanese version. This game may change the future of 'adventure game.' I’ve got a big expectation!”
So, lots of laughs among developer mates then.
Brendan McNamara continues looking forwards, "We're done on that one, and as I said earlier, we've got two full desks, 'Burglary' and 'Bunko', that never made it into the game, so we've been thinking about those and whether we'll do them.
"We're actually working on a new project idea now, so we're kicking that around as well. Most of the team are on holiday, to be honest."
