Sony has revealed its iPad challenging tablet computers - to be launched in the autumn. Right now they're called S1 and S2. Both will come with the PlayStation Suite running under Android.
PlayStation Suite enables users to "enjoy PlayStation content on an open operating system for the first time in PlayStation history", and was announced back in January this year.
The tablets will use Google's Android 3.0 Honeycomb system. The S1 comes with a 9.4-inch touch-screen. The S2 has two 5.5-inch folding displays.
"Sony Tablet delivers an entertainment experience where users can enjoy cloud-based services on-the-go at any time," says Kunimasa Suzuki, SVP and deputy president of Sony's consumer products & services division. "We’re aiming to create a new lifestyle by integrating consumer hardware, including Sony Tablet with content and network."
