Nintendo to Reveal HD Console at E3
So say reports of reports and some anonymous sources
It appears from 'multiple' sources who have given GameInformer the skinny, Nintendo is to reveal a Hi-Def console at E3.
The report states rather unhelpfully that, "There are conflicting reports, however, as to whether its graphics will be comparable to those on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 – meaning it could surpass or fall short of those systems. Either way it will offer competitive specifications."
If and when the HD system hits the market - and this is possibly going to be 2012 - it will not be a "a gimmick like the Wii", according to one anonymous source.
Nintendo is not commenting on this rumour of course.
