Sony Hits Another Hacker Problem - Threatens a Million Euro Suit
Hacker refuses to bow down
It must be fun being a lawyer for Sony. There's always plenty to do. This time around it's SCEE threatening a One Million Euro fine against a German PS3 hacker called der Egorenkov (aka "graf_chokolo") who is in the legal firing line.
According to Gameson, the hacker "has vowed to continue his hacking efforts in defiance of, if not inspired by, Sony's attempt to shut him down. SCEE have also contacted other sites hosting or linking to Egorenkov's released work, requesting that they take down the offending material or be considered to be 'in support of a criminal'."
