Playstation Home Users are "The Hardcore of the Hardcore"
Remember Playstation Home? Of course you do. It wasn't Second Life for Playstation at all. In fact, there's no "was" about it because it's still there. And if you're hardcore enough, you're probably there as well according to Sony.

According to PlayStation Home’s platform director Peter Edward, speaking to Develop, in fact points this out. He states that the demographic for Home, well, "They’re not that different from the PS3 demographic. But we find the more engaged, more active users are on there.

"Almost ‘the hardcore of the hardcore’ – but there’s also a broad skew to the demographic. So we have a slightly more female, and wider age group logging on as well. But the most active are the more average gamers, and they are the most receptive to the idea of spending money in Home.

"Amongst all those users, the average time spent on Home each time they log on is one hour, so they really are engaged – they’re in there hoovering up content, talking to other users."

Sure, we mildly take the rise out of Home. But when you see Mr Edward noting that, "there are 120 studios using the HDK and making content with it", you've got be raise an eyebrow.
