Nintendo of Japan has announced that unit sales of Game Boy Advance hardware have topped 11 million across the world.
Within the first six months of going on sale, Nintendo has managed to shift 11,746,000 GBA’s to the portable gaming hungry world, and all this has been achieved without the aid of a Christmas period.
This puts Nintendo well on track to reach its post Christmas target of 23 million hardware sales by March 2002, a figure that was initially doubted by industry analysts.
