Really? £160 would be a reasonable conversion. £180 would be "rip off Britain" prices. Although the Japanese version equates to roughly £190. I'd expect £200 in the UK.

i didn't mean that was a direct conversion but a reasonable guess at how much a rip of we would expect.
to their defense we have slightly greater costs here. so it would never be a true conversion. especially with VAT @ 20%.

Yeah, I get yer point now. 20% VAT plus the Euro recycling tax that is added to all electronic goods.
