Last Blade 2 Cancelled
SNK has announced that it has cancelled the development of Last Blade 2 for Dreamcast.
Following the bankruptcy of SNK, parent company Aruze stated that it could not continue to fund development of games that might not even be able to break even at retail.
The Last Blade series of games is considered by many to be amongst the greatest and most innovative of all fighting games. Best described as a mixture of King of Fighters and Samurai Spirits, the game will now only be available for the Neo Geo AES system.
