3DS May Support 3D Video Recording
The President of Nintendo Japan, Satoru Iwata, has explained in a recent Iwata Asks column that the upcoming Nintendo 3DS may support 3D video recording.

The latest talk session was held between Mother 3 designer Shigesato Itoi, Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto and Iwata himself. Quizzed by Itoi in regards to whether the three-dimensionality of the device can be adjusted, Iwata replied that "No, you can’t change the three-dimensionality of something recorded beforehand. You can turn the stereoscopic display on or off, though. In other words, you can only select whether you want it to look three-dimensional or not."

"Even for 3D movies, the images are all fixed ahead of time, so you can’t do this."

The 3D depth slider is also covered, demonstrated by Itoi as he adjusts the 3D volume on the device to affect the degree of 3D present on the 3DS screen.

The column is an interesting read which you can read the rest of here and let SPOnG know what you think of the 3DS in the Comments section below.
