Marvel vs Capcom 3 Pairs Rage-Quitters With Other Rage-Quitters
Capcom has found a way to combat online rage-quitters in the upcoming brawler Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds. It involves setting like-minded dishonourable players together, giving them a taste of their own medicine.

A statistic is buried within the game that will monitor your internet connection habits, ticking up if you have a tendency to pull the plug to avoid a crumbling defeat. Do the dirty deed so many times, and players will find that they will only ever get paired up with other rage-quitters. That would be a loser's match we'd love to spectate online.

Questions were raised as to the nature of this feature - whether it will be able to detect genuine disconnects due to shoddy internet connections, for example. Do you share those concerns? Do you think this is a good idea? Let us know in the forums below.

Excellent idea! Wish EA would do this with FIFA. Be fun if they also paired people who always pick Barca with others who always pick Barca too.

As for the poor people who could be punished by shoddy internet connection, maybe they should think about sorting out their connection before going online. It's just as frustrating.

I always find this worse on fighters. On a 12min game of FIFA if a player is getting beat 4-0 in the first 5mins then I can see why they might want to get out. But if you're getting whooped in a best-of-three match it can be over in seconds.

This is an amazing idea and one that should be implemented in all online fighting games.. And that's coming from someone who is often on the losing end of a ssf4 bout
