The CEO of Nintendo Japan, Satoru Iwata, has reassured customers that no drought and a steady flow of titles will be available for its upcoming Nintendo 3DS.Speaking with the
Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Iwata explained that:
"It's important that you be able to supply software with no pause."
"With the DS and Wii, following the titles that were released at launch, the momentum dropped when there was a gap in software releases," adding that "We're making plans so that this type of thing won't happen."
Titles such as
Pilotwings Resort and
Zelda: Ocarina of Time will be released towards the end of February,
Starfox 64 3D and
Kid Icarus: Rising in the summer and
Mario Kart 3DS,
Animal Crossing 3DS and
Paper Mario 3DS are yet to be dated.
