Dead or Alive: Dimensions, the latest iteration in the Dead or Alive franchise due for release on the 3DS will include touch screen controls as part of the game, it can be revealed.
The touch screen will allow players to carry out commands via the 3DS' touch screen as well as bring up a list of their characters' commands, tapping the screen to pull the appropriate move off. The developer behind the game, Team Ninja, is referring to this feature as "Digital Instruction".
Head developer at Team Ninja, Yosuke Hayashi, has mentioned previously that the game will be aimed s much at fans as bringing new players to the series too. There will be a "Chronicles" mode present which will act as a game tutorial with a story and will cover the first four titles in the series.
