Nintendo of America is preparing for the launch of the Nintendo 3DS by holding a press conference in New York on January 19th next year.
The president of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime, will be there to give a presentation at the event.
Details remain unconfirmed as to whether an RRP or launch date for the new portable will be provided but with the US and European launches expected in March next year it would be highly surprising if Nintendo did not provide some firm details so near to the machine's launch.
Current estimates of the RRP of the 3DS put it at $250 (about £160) but from past experiences with console RRPs don't go expecting a direct conversion anytime soon.
