Cold War related, obviously. Except the zombies. Obviously.

First Black Ops DLC Detailed
Activision has revealed the first details of its inevitable DLC plans for Christmas #1 Call of Duty: Black Ops. It'll be released on the 1st February 2011 and contain four new multiplayer maps along with a new zombie mode stage.

Called First Strike, the add-on pack will feature two maps based on the game's single-player mode (Hong Kong and Arctic Circle) and two fresh battlegrounds with a Cold War vibe - one will take place in an ice hockey stadium and the other will include the Berlin Wall.

First Strike will be available for the Xbox 360 for 1200 Microsoft Points, with PS3 owners having to wait a little while after the initial 1st Feb release to get a taste of the action. This is owing to the deal Activision made with Microsoft earlier in the year to allow for timed exclusivity on all Call of Duty DLC on Xbox 360 until 2012.

Paying for maps? Rah! etc.

On a serious note, I've bought (eventually) all the DLC for COD (didn't own WAW). But BLOPS mulitplayer just doesn't do anything for me. I'll probably give this one a miss.

Heck, after I've done single player I might even trade it in but as it only cost me £8 (thanks HMV) it seems a waste to do so.
