A date has been set for the latest, gun-totting iteration of the ongoing gangster-themed franchise, Yakuza Of the End - yes, the zombie one.
The game will see a release in Japan on March 17th for 7,980 yen. An additional announcement relating to the series is that a social gaming instalment of the franchise is also in the works and will be released in Winter, carrying the name "Yakuza Mobile for GREE".
The social game will allow players to raise big-headed versions of the series' characters. They will also be able to take on missions in efforts to reclaim in-game entertainment district Kamuro-cho from the enemy. The battle system will be automated and characters will brawl with opponents from a 3/4 overhead view perspective.
Both games will include connectivity, allowing players to exchange certain weapons and items between the titles. Items can also be unlocked in Yakuza Mobile by satisfying certain conditions in Yakuza Of the End.
