The latest packshot for Forza 4, Microsoft and Turn 10's contender - against Sony and Polyphony Digital's GT5 - (see our contentious review here) for 'most hardcorest of driving sims eva' shows, among other things a large Top Gear logo. It will also come with Kinect compatibility.
According to a Microsoft spokesman speaking with IGN, "We showcased a Kinect-enabled project from Turn 10 Studios at E3 2010, which let players explore and experience their dream cars like never before."
The spokesman then proceeded to spew up the usual platitudes...
"Forza Motorsport 4 brings together genre-defining, controller-based racing and the power and freedom of Kinect to create an automotive experience unlike anything before it."
So, Forza will be Kinected...

The Kinect looks like the worse possible idea for a game like this. I mean it just seems wrong for a driving/racing game. The one thing you need when playing a game like this is feedback. Kinect will give you nothing.
If they use the technology for head tracking or even being able to 'walk around a car' then it might be a good gimmick. But for actually playing the game? No thank you!

I think the Kinect integration will be more in the area of gallery viewing and video creation, as per the above quote "let players explore and experience their dream cars like never before". Explore and experience. He doesn't say "drive".
I do NOT think you'll be using it to control your cars. Because that would suck giant testicles.
