Although the company has experienced losses for the first time in seven years, the figures (translated by games website 1Up) show that company employees of the software development house will receive the bonus which when combined with the recently reported Summer bonus will net loyal workers of Nintendo with ¥3 million (approximately £23,000) in bonuses for the year.
Recent reports show that sales figures of the developer's machines, the Wii and the DS, experienced a dramatic drop in units shifted in October with the company encountering a loss of ¥2 billion for the six months leading up to September 30, 2010. This was compared to profits made of ¥69.5 billion for the same period in 2009.
