Streaming game service OnLive has announced that it will be offering a flat-rate 'all you can eat' option, giving users unlimited playtime on select titles for $9.99 a month.Called the
OnLive PlayPack, a total of 14 games can be streamed to your computer to play for as long as you keep paying the new subscription fee.
Prince of Persia,
Lego Batman,
F.E.A.R. 2 and
World of Goo are some of the games that people can play for free, while other titles such as
Batman: Arkham Asylum,
Borderlands and
Assassin's Creed II are available for 3-5 day rentals and full purchase.
The new payment plan marks a significant change in strategy for the service. In October, OnLive decided to
remove the base fee that was previously required to even use the streaming program.
OnLive has announced that the new PlayPack plan will be free for all users until it leaves Beta on the 14th January 2011.
