Every year in Japan, publisher Shueisha holds an event called Jump Festa in celebration of its most popular properties in its weekly released manga volume. This year in the gaming section of the event, publisher Capcom will be bringing its upcoming title Marvel vs. Capcom 3 to play for the adoring masses.
The crossover fighting title will be playable alongside other popular Capcom franchises such as Monster Hunter Portable 3rd and Monster Hunter Diary. MvC3 will also get a stage event that will be held over both days of the show (Dec. 18th & 19th) which will run from 12:00 to 12:45 each day.
With the knowledge that 10 characters have still yet to be revealed for the fighter, anticipation is high that some of those will be unveiled at the Jump Festa stage event for the game. Accompanying the event will be stage events for other titles in Capcom's library such as the Monster Hunter Portable 3rd special stage, a Sengoku Basara 3 special stage (one day only), and a Monster Hunter Diary "Let's Poogie Race" tournament. We already know that the Resident Evil 5 version of Jill Valentine and Shuma Gorath have been announced as DLC characters for MvC3. Any predictions on who you want to see out of the remaining 10 characters to be revealed for the title? We at SPOnG still have a desire to play as Gene from obscure fighting title God Hand and the symbiotic entity from the Spiderman series of comics, Venom. Any thoughts, feel free to post them down below.

I would not get my hopes up for mega man capcom screwed us over by not having strider hiryu ( HE DOES FIT PERFECT FOR THIS GAME ) so they will most likely crap on mega man fans by saying he is not blue enough or some bullshit reason just like strider

Accord to a rumor seen on Twitter, Venom and Cyclops have been cut, as per Marvel's request. I think because Mac Gargan (aka The Scorpion) has the Venom symbiont, Marvel does not want to go backwards by having the Eddie Brock Venom in the game. I pains me to see Eddie without the mantle of Venom, but not even allowing the Gargan Venom in MVC3 is crap!
