New Super Mario Brothers has enjoyed somewhat of a success since its release late last year. Somewhere in the region of over 4million in sales.
A recent update on the website of Japanese gaming publication Famitsu has shown that the title has sold through 4,001,276 units as of last Sunday. This achievement has been announced prior to the title's first year anniversary of being on sale on December 3rd.

Never. Everyone that wants a Wii already has one and of those, any that care about this sort of game already has it.

If that was the case, Cynic, the game likely would never have sold 4 million units - or at least, it wouldn't still be selling a year after its initial release to reach that number. I think there's every chance of NSMB:Wii reaching 5 million. I reckon it won't be for another few months yet though. Although with Christmas round the corner, I could be wrong.
