US Store Claims GT5 Stock
According to forum posters over on the Playstation US boards, one online store already has copies of Gran Turismo 5 in stock. The crazy thing about this? No official release date has been announced yet.

The posts suggest that the online retailer, Fingerhut.com carries stock of Gran Turismo 5: Collector's Edition with the title ready to ship to the customer. The website Examiner.com gave the retailer a call to confirm that the title was in stock and this was verified.

The limited edition comes with a hefty price tag of $135.99 and although it may please Gran Turismo fans immensely, no official release date has been formally announced as of yet so we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt (or at least until someone starts posting videos online of a Gran Turismo 5 unboxing).

I used to big a big Gran Turismo Fan, but over there years i have gone from Simulations and RPGs to Arcade and Shooty, simply because i don't have the time to play stuff like this any-more, but its been fun watching the fans wait and wait and wait, i bought my PSP orignally for Gran Turismo in the hopes i could play as i commute but that game sucked as far as im concerned.

Just got off the phone with fingerhut.. only downside is it takes 10 days to ship. What if best buy or gamestop gets em this weekend? Then I'll have paid $50 extra to wait for two weeks. The guy did confirm that they were IN STOCK though. Which retailer will be the next to get it?
