The newest title in the Fallout series of games, New Vegas, has done impressive business for its publisher Bethesda with $300m in retail sales generated since the title's launch.
According to the publisher, 5m units to date have shipped globally covering the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC formats. The president of Bethesda Softworks, Vlatko Adnonov, explained that:
"Despite the large launch quantities for this title, we have already received substantial re-orders from our retail partners, underscoring the tremendous popularity of this highly entertaining game."
When you have $300m in the bank, who wouldn't be pleased?
