Bethesda owner, Zenimax Media, has added yet another studio to its network by acquiring Machinegames. The studio, founded by former members of developer Starbreeze, was picked up by the publisher with developers such as Tango Gameworks, Arkane Studios, id Software and Bethesda Studios already under its wing.
The new studio will now be known as Zenimax Sweden AB according to its business registration
information. Machinegames had originally formed in July 2009 but has not yet released anything to market. The developer includes ex-Starbreeze staff Magnus Hogdahl (its founder) and lead designer Jerk Gustafsson among others.
The publisher appears to be accruing a slew of top talent under its wings. Who will Zenimax Media acquire next? Any thoughts, please direct them to the comments below.
