Ubi Soft has reaffirmed it’s commitment to Nintendo GameCube with the announcement of a deal with ESP to publish a new Evolution game.

The earlier Evolution games for the Dreamcast, The World of the Sacred Device and Far Off Promise, were among a large list of popular Dreamcast titles. Hoping to continue the success of the series in the absence of a new Sega console, Ubi Soft’s publishing of the third instalment, titled Evolution Worlds, looks very promising.

Ubi Soft was keen to show their satisfaction with the deal. "Ubi Soft is committed to bringing quality games to every next generation console system," said Yves Guillemot, President and CEO of Ubi Soft Entertainment. "This deal with ESP gives us the ability to satisfy the demanding appetites of the huge RPG fan community who is looking for more bang for their buck on a high-end system." Quite!

The game is currently in the early stages of development, so a release in any territory is not likely until Summer of next year. Expect a UK launch before Christmas 2002.
