In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of Nintendo's popular plumber Mario, the company is due to release a limited edition of the Nintendo Wii and this time around it will be in fetching blood red colour.
The limited edition Wii is due to be released in Japan on November 11 and in the UK on December 3rd. The Japanese version will retail for ¥20,000 (about £152.00). The bundles will come with will come with a Wii Remote Plus which combines the regular Wii Remote with the MotionPlus accessory for increased sensitivity with the controller.
Perhaps the most appealing aspect of the Mario red Wii is that each machine will come with a copy of Super Mario Bros. already installed on the system which will replace the "?" blocks in the game with "25" instead to commemorate Mario's 25th birthday.
It will also come with Super Mario All Stars a compilation featuring Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels.
