Will rise to power like FIFA over PES before it.

EA: Medal of Honor Will Beat Call of Duty
Electronic Arts intends to overthrow the Call of Duty series with Medal of Honor in the same way its FIFA games have arguably surpassed Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer titles.

The publisher's European boss, Jens Uwe Intat has said that the process will take a couple of years to happen - just like FIFA - but is confident that the tide will change from Activision's brand to EA's own.

"In the years to come, we’re definitely going to beat Activision and Call of Duty," Intat said. "We’re not going to outdo Call of Duty this year but it will get dangerously close. This is going to be a journey, as it has been with the way FIFA overtook PES."

The exec also mentions DICE's Battlefield series, which is a second "IP bullet in our gun." According to Intat, Bad Company 2 came "close to outperforming Modern Warfare 2" in some countries.

Of course, Intat forgets to call attention to the third bullet in the gun - the ex-Infinity Ward chaps at Respawn Entertainment. Would you accept our new EA FPS overlords should this prediction come to pass? Do you think Black Ops and Sledgehammer's offering will see Medal of Honor off?

It won't be hard call of duty is boring. Too many kill streaks to arcady. I like BFBC2 because it's realistic it actually has bullets in the game. What I mean by that is the bullets actually travel through the level when fired. In call of duty no bullets are fired, you just need cross hairs over your opponent and it will register a hit. Thats why sometimes you get shout when you are around the corner. BFBC2 bullets travel through the level so get effected by all sorts of variables and it takes a greater skill to play it. Medal of Honour doesn't look to have anything that stands out on it. Just the run of the mill fps. The fps market is exhausted and for a game to get my attention it needs to have something original in it. I think most people will gain the same view as me in 2 years time and after 2 more cod games and countless other fps.

I am pretty sure it has real bullet collision, hence why you can shoot through walls and ricochet off shields etc. but I am in a agreement that battlefield is a nice game, when I want a FPS to sit back and take my time with well I pick Battlefield, when I want a FPS to just run and gun, I pick Modern Warfare 2, lets see how MOH will fit in, but in the meantime im clocking up my Halo Reach playtime and enjoying some top notch CO-OP

MW2 is not the type of shooter i like to play. I have way to many issues with the way the game feels and plays. I prefer Killzone 2's gameplay over MW2. It just has a certain "feel" that MW2 lacks. To be honest, Halo is still one of the most respected FPS because of the "feel" and along with the amazing multiplayer. I hope someone knocks them down and does a better job at making an intresting FPS. Good Luck EA, many are rooting for you. LOL
