Square Enix Goes PSP Bonkers At TGS
Renowned RPG developer Square Enix had lots to confirm at the Tokyo Games Show with several announcements of upcoming titles for the PSP.

First up is confirmation of the release of Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix which will see a release in January 2011 for the title, a Japanese release of the US version together with additional elements to be added including a secret episode not included in the US release.

Also seeing release on December 22nd is upcoming title The 3rd Birthday which will retail for ¥6,090 and will allow players to get their Parasite Eve fix once again.

The third announcement was for the upcoming sequel to last year's Dissidia game, Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy. Attendees at TGS were lucky enough to catch a trailer for the game and try first-hand a playable build of the upcoming title.

The titles will also see a tie-in with the first editions of Final Mix and The 3rd Birthday including a code that will allow players access to download content in Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy. These will come in the form of Aya Brea's costume from The 3rd Birthday for FFXIII's lead character Lightning and a costume that will allow players to play FFVII's Cloud as his Kingdom Hearts variation.

Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy will see release sometime in 2011 and it looks like Square Enix isn't giving up on the PSP just yet. How's about one of your more recent RPG offerings on the PSP sometime eh?
