Farmville Boss: "I Don't F*cking Want Innovation"
An anonymous former senior employee of Farmville maker, Zynga, has gone public regarding an encounter with its founder and CEO, Mark Pincus. It's not clever or grown-up and, as our English teacher would say, shows a poor vocabulary... read on.

Bear in mind that this is one anonymous and possibly disgruntled employee. So, stamp the word "alleged" everywhere.

A stand-out was Mr Pincus commenting on what business practices Zynga utilise to drive its success forward: "I don't fucking want innovation," allegedly stated the CEO, summing up what many people think is the case.

"You're not smarter than your competitor. Just copy what they do and do it until you get their numbers", he is said to have lectured in standard form.

The former senior employee also recounts how the company's internal motto became 'Do Evil' and that:

"I would venture to say it is one of the most evil places I've run into, from a culture perspective and in its business approach. I've tried my best to make sure that friends don't let friends work at Zynga."

Executives at Zynga were asked to be interviewed for the article but declined. A public relations official with Brew Media Relations, Michelle Kim, whose office assists in handling press inquiries for Zynga, explained to SF Weekly that:

"Unless they know everything about the article, and that there's not going to be anything negative in it, they're probably not going to give anyone up" for an interview, she told SF Weekly. "It's really hard to get them to say yes to press these days."

Talk about selective representation in the media. Anyone for cultivating some virtual crops now?
