The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas for Sega’s delightful but doomed console is this week’s Dreamcast dodo. Mysteriously absent from the last Virgin Interactive release schedule, this omission initiated a phonecall to the company’s PR department.
‘Yes, it’s a shame, but this kind of thing seems to be happening more and more’, went the comment from Virgin’s spokesperson. Shame indeed. Following the likes of the also recently canned Half Life and Heroes of Might and Magic 3 down the DC dumper, Viva Rock Vegas may not have turned out to be a classic game, but those of us who have hung on to our Dreamcasts would have at least liked to have the chance to find out for ourselves. Looks like Flintstones fans are gonna have to turn to Sony for their gaming jollies.
Oh well, feast your eyes on these screens, ‘cos they’re the last ones you’ll see of this particular game.
