Vanquish Demo Hits PSN Today, Delayed for XBLA
The demo for Shinji Mikami's crazy futuristic shooter, Vanquish, will be going live on PlayStation Network later today, but it's been nudged back to tomorrow for Xbox Live Marketplace. Either way, get ready for some android-smacking action.

Platinum Games' latest project with Sega is a bona fide third-person bullet hell game, where you fight to regain control of a hijacked space station before it destroys New York with concentrated solar energy. Russians, Americans and robots are heavily involved.

No reason was given for the delay for the Xbox demo - both versions were originally due to be released on their respective formats today. With the full game out on the 22nd October though, there's still plenty of time to beat the hell out of the demo, even if it arrives a day late.

SPOnG previewed Vanquish ahead of the demo's release - you can read all about it here.

I'm trying to decide whether to wait for this or go for Metroid Other M or Odyssey to the West. Just wish the others had demos as well!
