Katsuhiro Harada: Tekken Movie is 'Terrible'
It appears that Tekken 6's executive producer, Katsuhiro Harada, does not approve of the recent/upcoming (depending on where you live in the world) Tekken movie from Crystal Sky Pictures.

When asked on Twitter about a strange plot twist in the film, Harada responded with "that Hollywood movie is terrible. We were not able to supervise that movie (it was cruel contract) I'm not interested in that [movie]."

Ouch. For what it's worth, many Hollywood adaptations of computer games fail to get the creative input of the actual developers, but it's telling to see such a statement revealed publicly. Makes you wonder if there will ever be a Harada-approved movie in the future.

The Tekken movie was released in US cinemas last November, and premiered in Japan in March. The UK will get a straight-to-DVD release this coming September.

It's not great, nor is it as bad as it could have been.
Worth a watch for Christies outfit!

Shame that more video game films aren't more of the likes of Silent Hill an Mortal Combat.

And they're the better ones as well.

@Bukkow is that all you're after? Christie's outfit? not the story? i can tell you're not a fan.. at the start of the movie, you know it's already f**ked up.. coz Jin didn't wanna kill Heihachi, it was Heihachi who trained Jin.. it was OGRE (a monster like creature) who killed Jun Kazama.. it was Heihachi who trained Jin, for him to be able to defeat Ogre.. so why wasn't that the story? And if they're gonna make TEKKEN movie, they should start with Kazuya's story first.. Not JIN..
